School Experience Week 2020

SOTA students travelled a long way to Port Augusta campus with their families and supervisors for their annual school experience.

Many of the best aspects of school were compressed in one week: hands-on learning activities, sports, excursion to Whyalla, disco and dinner with friends, show and share by ornithologist, Peter Langdon, and performance by the legendary Peter Combe.

Years 1 to 7 students also completed Progressive Achievement Tests under the supervision of their teachers. SOTA community was delighted to be together - in the flesh! True to the school song, ‘we’re really close to in mind and heart although we live so far apart…’
