Join the Youth Environment Council in 2025!

2025 applications are open until Thursday 27 February (week 5)

Are you in Year 7-11 and passionate about sustainability? Want to make a real difference, develop your leadership skills, and while having heaps of fun?

The Youth Environment Council (YEC) of South Australia is a program that connects like-minded students who care about the environment and develop your skills to act for a sustainable future. As a YEC member, you will:

✅ Meet and collaborate with other young environmental leaders
✅ Attend a sustainability camp & forums to learn and share ideas
✅ Start your own project at school or in your community with support
✅ Gain leadership experience and help create a greener future

How to Apply

📅 Applications close Thursday 27 February (Week 5)

To apply, you must:

• be a South Australian student in Year 7-11
• have permission from a parent/guardian
• have endorsement from a supportive teacher or Principal
• Commit to attending all YEC events

🚗 Regional students are encouraged to apply! Travel subsidies are available through YEC.
