Parents/Carers Workshops
We’re excited to offer two parent/carer workshops and encourage parents to attend:
- Session 1: Wellbeing & Support
- Session 2: Parent Perspectives: Shaping Learners
Please refer to the flyer for more details.
We would like to clarify that parents are most welcome on-site. If your young person requires you to attend a workshop with them due to special circumstances, please get in touch with our school on 8309 3500 or Student.Services805@schools.sa.edu.au, and they will connect you with a Wellbeing Leader.
While OAC teachers and support staff will be present at some workshops, they will also be attending regular teaching sessions and may come and go. We hope you take the opportunity to connect with teachers and SSOs throughout the day.

For Primary Parents/Carers
We’d like to clarify that parents and siblings of Primary-aged OAC students are welcome to attend if needed. We understand that some students may require the support of a parent, carer, or adult on the day. When signing in at Student Services, you will be asked whether your Primary-aged student is attending with or without an adult. This will help us ensure adequate support for students attending independently.
Due to limited capacity, we ask that any non-OAC children or young people in attendance do not participate in the scheduled activities. This event is an opportunity for OAC students to connect with peers and staff. However, if your child is comfortable participating independently, supervision will be provided during all sessions. Parents and accompanying adults are welcome to remain onsite or in the room for support if needed.

We look forward to seeing you and your young person as we enjoy a fantastic day of wellbeing activities together!
