Career Awareness Series 2025

Following the success of last year’s Career Awareness Months, DfE are excited to announce an expanded Career Awareness Series for 2025.
Students will gain first-hand experience and insights into industries such as technology, health, education, construction, manufacturing, automotive, defence, renewables, and more.
The Career Awareness Series will officially launch at the Career and Employment Expo on May 9 and 10 and run throughout Term 2 and Term 3.

This expanded program features over 100 career exploration opportunities for students from Year 7 to Year 12. Get in quickly as experiences are already filling up.
Experiences include:
- Guest Speakers – Hear from industry professionals
- Come and Try Sessions – Hands-on career experiences
- Site Tours – Explore workplaces across key industries
- Teacher Professional Development – Industry insights for educators
- Parent Information Sessions – Supporting career conversations at home
- Conferences & Expos – Showcasing multiple career pathways
- Industry Partner Events – Engaging activities hosted by South Australian employers
