Save the date for the OAC Awards Ceremony: Wednesday 4 December 2024!

Our Awards Ceremony is the biggest in-person event of the year and the highlight of our school calendar. It’s a time to celebrate the exceptional achievements of our Year 7-12 students and bid a fond farewell to our graduating Year 12s. The ceremony will honour both academic and personal accomplishments, with major awards presented, such as the Outstanding Year Level Awards, ADF Awards, and the AMPOL Best All Rounder Award.

In addition to recognising our students' achievements, the event will feature inspiring guest speakers and performances by some of our talented students. The ceremony will conclude with a relaxed afternoon tea at the venue. Award winners and their families will be notified by Week 5 of Term 4.

Attendance Information

Each student is allowed a maximum of four guests. If families require additional seats, we will do our best to accommodate requests by placing them on a waitlist. To assist us in managing this, please provide the following to Events.OAC886@schools.sa.edu.au.

About the Awards

The exact nature of most awards will not be revealed until the day. The awards presented will include:

• Academic Achievement Awards – for academic achievement in Years 7-12.
• Personal Achievement Awards – for students in Years 7-12 who have demonstrated effort or commitment to development in a subject.
• Major Awards – including Outstanding Year Level Awards (Years 10-12), the AMPOL Best All Rounder, Long Tan, and ATSI Awards.
• Graduation Certificates – in recognition of completing Year 12 studies towards the South Australian Certificate of Education (SACE).

Past performances have featured talents such as bands, instrumentalists, vocalists, dancers, and acrobats—both in groups and as individuals. If you have a special talent you'd like to share, we'd love to hear from you!
