Who is this course for?

Music is designed for school based, college based, or home-schooled students who wish to increase their confidence to be creative, innovative, thoughtful, skillful and informed musicians.

This includes the development of an understanding of:

Please note: Students must be enrolled in an OAC Music course to be eligible for Instrument lessons provided by IM.

What will I learn?

You will explore music as an artist and as an audience, developing listening, composing and performing skills with the use of online learning tools and applications. You will engage with music from different cultures, artists, real and imagined worlds and contexts.

How will I be assessed?

The Music learning programs are aligned to meet the Music Achievement Standards as outlined in the Arts Australian Curriculum. You will be assessed based on the application of knowledge and understanding of the elements of music through performance and collaborative and individual creative projects.
