Who is this course for?

Students who are interested in learning programming and utilising technology in creative ways to create screen based and physical programable products.

What will I learn?

Students will learn how to code computer programs, look into the data within programs and use computational thinking skills to create solutions to problems. Students will use computational thinking skills and strategies to understand problems and explore possible solutions. You will then extend your use of computational thinking and strategies to understand a range of programs, devise program improvements and design a program to meet the requirements of a design brief. The use of Microbit microcontrollers using block and text based coding to create various products will form a strong component of the course.
